Finding Treasure
Most people know Mary L. Holden as a saving-grace Editor and out-of-the-box Poet. Her sense of humor is completely unexpected and, on a daily basis, she reaches out to the farthest edges of her mind as she threads science, reality and everything that isn’t ‘normal’ into what was, is and is becoming ‘normal’. Mary is a very interesting person to know.
Fortunately for me, my friendship with Mary threads to a time lost, but experience is remembered. Vague and vivid, calendar dates have fallen into non-existence, yet brothers, bicycles, houses, summer heat, softball, grade schools, high school yearbooks, laughter and — omg — Key Club, remain steadfast and true. (ohhhhh…I could tell you stories about Mary and Key Club!)
Few people know Mary is an exquisite interviewer. You could ask Mary for the astonishing list of Named interviews she has done, but she is not one to divulge her contacts. They are sacred, which, truth be told, is how I view my Client list — so, mum’s the word.
What makes Mary so different in an interview is the mechanism of thought her mind cycles through to ask the unexpected questions that are, not only beyond standard, they surprise and invigorate the Interviewee. Mary always writes interesting interviews — and, her natural methodology is precisely how she manipulates me (😉) into conversations that take us beyond the scope of expectation on practically every call.
At the onset of Spring 2015, Mary and I agreed to do an unscripted radio show together for New72 Media. Called The Conversation unscripted, we connected remotely every other Thursday morning over the course of 9 months. While in high channel, I would respond to wherever Mary’s mind went as the conversation evolved during the show. The results were 60–90 minutes of intuitive conversations beyond the scale. Each episode was so full of beneficial life tools and surprising clarifications, we were at a loss of words in the aftermath of each experience, and again with the feedback. (Mary and I are both Writers. For us to be at a loss for words is saying a lot — lol)
A reflection of the natural conversations we have in our personal lives, The Conversation unscripted came to an end as we both reached pivotal changes in our lives that prevented the continuity of our bi-weekly commitments. I moved further into screenwriting and film. Mary moved further into publishing and other endeavors. The Conversation unscripted joined the rest of our shared past — a time lost, but experience remembered — both vague and vivid.
While I was mentored to produce my stories into film, I scaled way back from mentoring Clients into their personal development of confidence and trust. When I became the Producer, I didn’t work with Clients at all. During this time, my channeling was relegated to journaling, family, and a friend or two — oh yeah — and those out-there-what’s-up-on-planet-earth conversations with Mary.
As with most of us, the Pandemic brought my life trajectory to a halt. With a re-sort and re-direct, I began mentoring Clients again in July 2021. After updating my courses, workbooks and attuning to the current trajectory of our higher collective consciousness, I started walking through the new long-term plan for my Intuitive life with a focus on increasing light, confidence and self-trust — individually and collectively.
With the anticipation of working with a publicist, I gathered my Artist, Author and Intuitive archives, and set about organizing myself into life’s new order. Then, Mary sent me links to three episodes of The Conversation unscripted. Shocking to both of us, the timeless treasure-filled information in these three episodes could have been channeled a week ago.
Yesterday morning, I could not get out of bed fast enough. The compelling momentum to find the rest of the episodes and repost them has gripped me. I felt like a mad-woman digging for gold — lol — and searched everything I could remember. Fortunately, two more audio files surfaced, so 5 of the 17 shows exist. I haven’t given up the search for the remaining episodes — fingers crossed!
The Conversation unscripted felt special while we were engaged in the show’s conversations. That energy hasn’t dissipated in the re-listening. So, we’re sharing them with you through my recently revised and revived YouTube channel with links to the three episodes on New72 Media’s YouTube channel. You’ll find all 5 in my Intuitive Playlist at https://www.youtube.com/c/RuthEvelyn33/playlists.
I hope you enjoy the interesting questions Mary queries on. She is amazing, and the information runs the gamut from, “of course…” and “why didn’t I think of that?” to quite profound and controversial (such as ‘when the soul/self enters the fetus). The Conversation unscripted is a treasure trove filled with revelations of life gems — without having to dig in the dirt!
